Zara Tindall Welcomes Baby Boy

Zara Tindall has given birth to a baby boy on Sunday 21st March 2021. Former World and Olympic eventer Zara Tindall and 2003 rugby world cup champion Mike Tindall have welcomed their third child, a baby boy Lucas Philip weighing 8lb 4oz.

Mike announced the news on the podcast that he co-hosts, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, saying the birth happened very quickly at the couple’s home. He said “Fortunately Zara’s friend Dolly was there and recognised that we wouldn’t have got to the hospital in time. It was run to the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom. The midwife who was going to meet us at the hospital wasn’t that far away so she drove up and the second midwife arrived just after the head! Z had contractions through the night, she hadn’t slept well the night before so we had someone take the kids through the day. As every man would say, she was a warrior as always.”

The Tindall’s already have two daughters Mia Grace who is 7 years old and Lena Elizabeth who is two years old who Mike has said are “over the moon” with their new brother.

Zara Tindall is the granddaughter to The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. A spokesman for Buckingham Palace have said that they are delighted and are looking forward to meeting their 10th great-grandchild once circumstances allow.
