Virtual Eventing Competition 2020
The Virtual Eventing Competition has been set up whilst the world is in lockdown due to coronavirus (Covid-19). The 5* competition is taking place over what would of been Badminton Horse Trials 2020 with free live streaming from 6th – 10th May 2020.
Event riders from around the world will be competing virtually at their own yards. Some of the biggest names in the eventing world are taking place include William Fox-Pitt, Boyd Martin, Joseph Murphy and Ludwig Svennerstal.
The Virtual Eventing competition takes place as if it were an international 3 day event and included a number of new challenges for the riders. The event will be scored live however it has been pre-recorded in accordance with BEF guidelines.
The aim of the competition is to raise money for medical charities around the world fighting Coronavirus (Covid-19). Each rider will be raising money for charity.
There is also a huge virtual shopping village on the Virtual Eventing website with many top brands offering discounts with money going to charity. As well as an online auction, art gallery, sculptures, models, raffle and the opportunity to buy the official Virtual Eventing range.

THURSDAY 7th MAY – 11.00 – 13.15 Morning Dressage Session 14.00 – 16.20 Afternoon Dressage Session
FRIDAY 8th MAY – 11.00 – 13.15 Morning Dressage Session 14.00 – 15.15 Afternoon Dressage Session
SATURDAY 9th MAY – 11.00 – 17.00 Cross Country Test 19.00 – 23.00 The Big House Party (virtual)
SUNDAY 10th MAY – 14.00 Jumping Test 16.00 Winners Announced
