Luhmühlen CCI5* Entries 2021

The Luhmühlen CCI5* eventing competition is set to go ahead on 17th – 20th June 2021. There are very few 5* competitions going ahead this year, none in the UK, due to the covid-19 pandemic therefore meaning that there are a lot of exciting entries for Luhmühlen.

The 2019 defending champions Tim Price and Ascona M are entered as well as the 2018 champions Jonelle Price and Faerie Dianimo. Tim Price is also riding his Burghley winner Ringwood Sky Boy.

Previous winner of Luhmühlen 5* competition Michael Jung has also entered riding Highlighter and FischerWild Wave. As well as world champions Ros Canter and Allstar B and 2019 Burghley winner Pippa Funnell and MGH Grafron Street. Other British entries include Tom McEven riding Figaro Van Het Broekxhof, who were second in 2019. Tom also has a second ride CHF Coolisrer. Laura Collett and Mr Bass who were second in 2018 are also running as well as Sarah Bullimore and Reve Du Rouet who came 5th in 2019.

World number one and Kentucky 2021 winner Oliver Townend has two horses entered Tregilder and MHS King Joules. Other Brits with two rides include Piggy March riding her 2019 Badminton winner Vanir Kamira as well as Brookfield Inocent. Gemma Tattersall riding Jalapeno III and Santiago Bay. Nicola Wilson riding JL Dublin and Bulana. Izzy Taylor riidng Monkeying Around and Fonbherna Lancer. David Doel has three rides Carneyhaugh Rua, Dunges Don Perignon and Shannondale Quest. Simon Grieve is riding both Drumbilla Metro and The Rutman. Ben Hobday has entered both Harelaw Wizard and Shadow Man.

Other British riders entered are Harry Meade and Tenareze, Tom Jackson and Billy Cuckoo, Sarah Way and Dassett Cooley Dun, Hector Payne and Dynasty, Georgie Spence and Halltown Harley, Mollie Summerland and Charly Van Ter Helden, Felicity Collins and RSH Contend OR, Selena Miles and Iron, Harry Mutch and HD Bronze, Thomas Rowland and Possible Mission, Emma Hyslop-Webb and Pennlands Douglas, Kirsty Chabert and Classic VI, Emilie Chandler and Gortfadda Diamond, EIlidh-Jane Costello and Wedmur Quality, Imogen Murray and Ivar Gooden as will Kitty King and Vendredi Biats.
