FEI Nations Cup Team Revealed
The team going to Poland to compete in the FEI Nations Cup for Great Britain is made up of David Doel, Ben Hobday, Emma Hobday and James Sommerville.
- David Doel, from Wiltshire riding Eisfee a 12-year-old mare owned by Ian and Jane James.
- Husband and Wife Combination from Northumberland, Ben and Emma Hobday. Ben is riding Shadow Man II. A 9-year-old gelding owned by himself and Jane Chambers. Emma is riding Shadow Puppet who is an 11-year-old gelding, who she owns herself. This is Emma’s debut at senior level with Ben and Emma being the first husband and wife combination to compete on a British team.
- James Sommerville, from North Yorkshire riding Talent a 13 year old gelding owned by himself and Jennifer Sommerville.
The FEI Nations Cup is made up of 7 competitions. 6 of which count towards the overall total points and result in a series win. The third leg of the competition in which David, Ben, Emma and James compete takes place at Strzegom in Poland on 27th – 30th June 2019.
