Toffee 15.2 bay mare TB she will be 13 years old in May and is by Scorpion out of Klipperstreet bred by Michael Griffin in Ireland. She comes from racing stock but hasn’t raced she had played polo a bit and she has had two foals.
Toffee is looking for a new home due to a change in circumstances we do not have the time or commitment Toffee deserves.
Toffee needs riding at least 4 or 5 times a week with variation, commitment and discipline she is definitely not a novice ride. We want her to a private home preferably with someone who will compete with her so she will have the chance to do what she is good at and can be amazing at. Toffee cones with all her wardrobe and a fitted saddle but no bridle. We are looking for £7k for her.
She is great to school and hack, she has a good jump on her. She hacks in company but we have not hacked her on her own. She loves working and is willing honest and responsible. She is very sweet and affectionate with people but she is not an easy ride as she is a bit sensitive and she does need to be in consistent work. She is a typical TB and is clever, picks things up quickly and wants to please.
She comes to call and has really good stable manners and is very social with people. She is great to groom and enjoys a scratch stroke and chat. She tolerates other horses but she loves her pony friend and seems to prefer mares. She is quite squealy around geldings. She picks up all her feet and is good to load.
She has no health issues, good legs and feet and is fully shod and seen by the farrier every 6 weeks. She is up to date with worming, vaccinations and teeth.
