Maverick is an eye catching ISH who is a complete head turner. He has been a fantastic show horse who has competed up to HOYS qualifier level and competed at Royal international 2018, with many wins and placings as a small hunter. He is a saint to do in all ways, with manners to die for. No vices, great to shoe, load, clip etc. He thrives off attention and is so loveable. His absolute favourite thing to do is hack out (alone and in company) beach rides, fun rides, anything that involves going out and seeing new things!
He hasn’t done much dressage with me as he’s been used as a show horse but when he has he has always been in the placings so he is definitely suited to the discipline.
He does have a fantastic jump, competing BS level on a ticket and jumped intermediate workers tracks, however I stopped jumping him to focus on showing, so he will be out of shape with it. He can get nervy and gassy with the jumping so I would prefer him to go to a happy hacking/showing/dressage home. Carries a side saddle well.
He is a big boy & a forward going horse who can be fresh when excited so no novice riders, 18 year old + experienced riders only. No loans.
Only for sale due to university commitments. I have just moved back home from university and he has had a few months off so he won’t be ready to be sold straight away, just posting to line up those who would be interested. He is very straight forward so he should be ready to go soon, or if there’s someone out there who would like a horse to do up over the lockdown period then he’s ready to go! It absolutely breaks my heart to sell him so a 10* home only.
