Mercy is a lovely mare with a big personality. She’s Dutch Warmblood X TB. I’ve had her for nearly 2yrs but having to let her go as I’m working full time and finding it too difficult to find the time for her.
She’s a very powerful horse so she doesn’t need much leg. She has 3 lovely paces and is very good at correcting herself and listening to aids.
She’s a fabulous show jumper. (Has a good showjumping bloodline from Sire side) Been round 1.10m courses with me but has the potential to go higher. Would be a great BSJ horse. Very good at changing her canter lead herself and will still try if a distance isn’t seen. She’s quick but careful, she doesn’t like being held back. She’s also a XC machine and won’t hesitate at anything put in front of her.
She loves hacking alone or with company, does have a good look around at everything and is quite impatient when having to stand but nothing dangerous. Great travelling alone or with company. Great for Farrier and vet. She does like being with another horse or herd in a field, definitely will be the boss and is firm but fair. She is strong to lead and will test you, been mainly led out in a control headcollar and sometimes a bridle.
She’s taught me so much and made me a better rider. Definitely NOT a novice ride. I would want her to go to a home that will take her out eventing or competing and not waste her talent. She loves having a job to do and always places when out.
