SOUTH WALES BASED
Appaloosa (no breeding)
9 years old (2012)
I recently bought lottie but unfortunately she’s needs a different type of home.
She’s nervous of a lot of things. She needs 1-1 handling on a quiet yard. My yard is very noisy and she’s quite nervous with all the noises and events that goes on.
She’s been a broodmare to 2 foals. She would definitely be a mother again.
Obviously being nervous she’s not the best to catch but once caught you can brush her, I can do her front feet but the backs aren’t done yet.
She would make a lovely project for someone that has a quiet yard, alot of patience and a lot time.
Lottie hasn’t had her back feet done yet due to needing work with picking them up but she did let the farrier do her fronts, she’s ok with dogs, she’s good to lead and travel. She has bred two blanket spot foals previously and was a good mother. Lottie does have a small very small superficial lump on her leg it is just a bit of tissue. Vet confirmed it will not cause any issues and is not lame but due to this she will not be any good for showing shows. She’s turned out with mares and Geldings with no issues. With catching her I leave a head collar on and just clip a lead rope on and she’s fine, just nervous. she has worn a saddle pad a few times and lunged a few times which she done fine at. She lives in or out.
Would consider a swap or part ex.
