Downton fox (Tommy)
Tommy is a lovely boy standing at 16’1hh and is a tb and has raced (hurdler)
He is 14 and has now started retraining
– Tommy has been lovely to retrain once we got over the first step as he had a long time out of work.
Done lots of flatwork with lessons every other week and has done a dressage competition and came 5th.
Jumping is tommys joy- he absolutely loves it, he is comfortably jumping 70/80cm at home and is now being introduced to some scarier fillers and taking it in his stride.
Hacks alone or in company, front or behind.
Always snaffle mouthed
He can be nervous at first when meeting new riders but as long as you take your time and don’t just slap abit of tack on and expect him to rule the world you will be grand.
Tommy does enjoy company however, when going to competitions I advise him to go on his own as otherwise he will throw his toys out the pram, I do believe with work he will over come this.
