Buzz is a beautiful & striking 17hh pb Trakehner gelding.
I have owned him since he was approx 2.5yrs old. He has lovely paces and movement.
He was brought on slowly by me as a youngster and has not been overworked or over done in any way since.
He is a true all rounder.
Always hacks in a snaffle alone & in company.
I hunt him in a Dutch gag.
He has been hunting with bloodhounds packs including Readyfields & Highmoor, & Cambridge University Drag Hounds. In all about 20 times. Has been to pre-season hunt meets and on fun rides and has been to the beach a few times.
Has done a few unaffiliated dressage & showjumping competitions & has the scope & movement to do more high level in both & xc with more training (I am not particularly competitive & he has done this more for fun with my daughter & me).
Hacks alone and in company in front & behind no problems. Good hacking/hunting with others & has never kicked. Not spooky but like all horses can look. Good in traffic. Can ride and lead from him and can quite happily go for a hack on the buckle or do something more. Has been ridden by a variety of people incl my 6 year old grandson & a nervous friend’s daughter.
Very sad sale as Buzz is a complete gentleman but I lack the time & space as starting to breed and my children have all left home.
Good to shoe, clip, load in trailer.
Does have a bone growth on his head but doesn’t affect him in any way.
No vices or any previous injuries.
Wants an active life as 15 is no age due to relative low mileage and is more than capable.
Buzz wouldn’t suit a complete novice as prefers to be ‘told’ what to do but he will tolerate a nervous rider.
On the ground he is an absolute gent.
Please be honest about your riding ability. I can’t stress how safe and how much fun this horse is but you do need to be able to ride.
Top home is a must for this gorgeous boy.
