One in a million child’s pony.
Toby (Time to Shine) is truly a one in a million gelding who is a real head turner with the loveliest personality to match. (My photos DO NOT do him justice as it is almost impossible to show a grey pony at his best in the middle of a muddy winter!)
He is the kindest, safest and most trustworthy pony I have had the privilege of starting; a mother’s dream as he is snaffle mouthed, quick off the leg but easy to stop. Toby hacks and schools alone or in company, pops a jump happily and will go in the lead or at the back at any pace.
He has been on various outings to arena hire at Felbridge, Crockstead, Pyecombe and also to a local gallops and to the beach at Camber Sands. He behaved impeccably at all of these events – some in pelting rain and gale force wind. I will continue to take him out and about to experience jumping courses and show arenas.
Toby loves being ridden and fussed. He is brave and bold and gives everything a go. He is going to be a Pony Club superstar, a trustworthy mother/child share or a fantastic addition for any riding school as he can turn his hoof to anything.
Toby currently stands at 13.2 hh (to mature at around 14hh) and is 5. He is really easy to do; great with the farrier and vet, easy to load, clip, good to tie up and is used to kids, dogs, bikes and traffic!
Due to his age Toby is green and this very special pony will only be sold to a knowledgeable home. Please request videos if you would like to see him in action. I have footage of him being ridden by me (5’6”) an 11 year old and a very novice 7 year old.
