8 yr old 15.2 Irish cob
Peggy is a perfect example of an honest, hardworking Irish cob. She’s a gentle giant on the ground but what a great engine she has under her bonnet.
A forward going mare that loves to jump and enjoys her job. Peg would be a perfect horse for someone who wants a leg in all corners ,safe, sweet mannered , genuine and energetic best friend to have fun or compete with. Peg will have a go at absolutely anything you point her at.
Before coming to us Peggy had done very little mileage but since then really enjoyed getting out and about. Fun rides, pub rides, beach rides ,swimming in the sea and getting out with the hunt. She’s had a go at it all and proved herself to be sane and sensible.
Great in traffic, used to being on a busy yard with heavy machinery. Super with the farrier just fronts on every 6 weeks.Good with dentist and up to date last visits January 2019. Stands like a rock to be clipped and loves to be groomed and to return the favour! Lol .
Vaccinations will be up to date. A dream to load and travel. Lives in or out in a mixed herd. Peg really has been a dream to own and it’s really sad for us to see her move on but she deserves the very best, circumstances have changed and it’s the only reason she is up for sale. Please only serious enquiries need apply ,expect to be asked a million questions because peg will not go to just anyone. We are in no rush to sell and will wait for the right person to come along with a 5 star home to offer her.
Peggy does need a confident rider and handler because once bored and out of work does get very child like and looses respect for you. This is the only negative thing I could say about peg and the only thing her new owners can’t be. She is a kind mare with a kind eye but does need that contact and work commitment from an owner.
Peggy is not going for pennies she’s a quality stamp of a horse with the turbo button that every owner of a lazy laid backed cob wishes they had.
If your budgets low please don’t enquire because unfortunately pegs not the horse for you.
No tack included
Currently been in regular light to medium work this past 6 months.
Peggy is due to come back from her loan this month so viewings can be arranged towards the end of the month. Can send any videos or answer questions in the meantime to genuine interested buyers.
